Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

At beginning of your shift:

• Communicate with previous shifts Field Lead in order to get an update on the previous nights operation, retrieve keys, phone, radio, etc. from them
• Attend the Lead daily meeting to get info for the shift
• Check your e-mails throughout shift
• Get out to your area as soon as meeting is over

After Lead daily meeting:

• Handle shift change to insure operation runs smoothly
• Handle radio calls (10-11, 10-25, etc.) for your area
• Monitor radio & stop any unnecessary radio chatter from driver for your area
• Preform headway as well as making sure your drivers stay on schedule especially during peak
• Ride a long (minimum of 2) for your area
• Handle lunches or 15 min breaks depending on staffing for your area
• Handle fueling for your area
• Respond to any accidents or other emergencies in your area & help Sr Lead
• Redirect your driver for any route changes for your area
• Assist Sr Lead with bus wash – 1st & 2nd Shifts
• Assist Sr Lead & Dispatch as needed throughout your shift
• End of your shift:
• Communicate with the next shift Field Lead so they know what is going on in the operation & turn over keys, phone, radio, etc.
